Amazing person. Very diligent in helping us find that perfect house. It took 7 month to find it and when most people would have given up, she kept looking. Also helped us locate contractors to get some minor repairs completed, and they were great too. I wish I had the need to buy and sell more properties so Kathy can help me with those too. I would not use anyone else.

Kathy helped us get into our first home in 2005 and then we listed with her in 2009 to sell. She also helped us get into our second home at that time. SHe was very patient with us during both buying times, and especially the second time we were looking, she always sent me emails of homes that we were interested in and when one particular home came on the market and the price had been lowered significantly she got us in first to see it. We loved it and the neighborhood. She let them know how interested we were and we made the offer the next morning, and got a contract by that afternoon! She definately has her customers at the top of her list everyday. When selling our home, she worked very hard to get appointments to show and have open house quite frequently, our house sold in less than a month! I was initially interested in a USDA Rural Home Development loan. I called Exit Realty to get information on one of their listings and to see if it met the guidelines to qualify. Kathy spent at least 45 minutes answering my questions, explaining the criteria to be met for that type of loan, and the rural listings that I might be interested in and the next day we were looking at houses in Pond Creek and Drummond! Eventually, after weeks of house hunting outside of Enid I concluded that living in Enid best suited my Son and I.
I was skeptical at first whether I wanted to use a realtor, or just shop the FSBO market because of previous experiences of getting inaccurate information, and waiting days for a call back. With Kathy, she always told me when she could get back in touch and stuck to it, and always returned my calls the same day even after hours (I don’t think she sleeps).
While looking at houses, Kathy was always prepared with comprehensive comparisons in the area and historical/transaction data about the house. Kathy's familiarity with city ordinances, codes and FHA requirements was evident. One house I liked so much I failed to recognize, she found it, that it had major structural damage from settling. I was still interested in it provided the seller would pay for the repairs, and Kathy drew up a contract with the contingency. She set up an estimate with Power Lift, and $11,000 (that I could have been stuck with) was not something the seller would pay for.
Another reason I recommend Kathy is because she will do everything she can to help you even after the transaction is complete. At closing we saw that the final costs were higher than we had anticipated. I went ahead with the closing to prevent a hold up and get in the house. After, she examined everything to figure out why, and it turned out that the Bank had charged me for an inspection of the house with the structural damaged house that never should have taken place! The bank refused to give me a refund and even threatened to void the closing of my house if I wanted to dispute the charges. Kathy backed me up and showed the bank how and why they were liable for their mistake and 4 days later I had a $500 check in my mailbox!
I am convinced that Kathy's help made my life and the whole experience of buying my first home A LOT easier! Because she did such a get job and earned every dime of her commission I will only call her if I need a realtor. If you want to only have to worry about which house to choose and hand exercises to avoid cramps during closing I advise you to call Kathy too!
Kathy was a fantastic agent from the beginning, especially since my house search began before moving to Enid. Kathy is personable - after discussing what I was looking for, she constantly sent suggestions to me through email. We would review the house together so we could narrow down future searches. Kathy is thorough - since I was not able to visit the houses, she did an amazing video walk through of the house and sent it to me the next day. When I finally moved to Enid, Kathy spent entire afternoons with me driving around to houses we had discussed. She always shared her honest opinion and never pressured me into liking a house I was obviously not interested in. She helped me find a great house in my price range, and the closing paperwork couldn't have been easier. I would recommend working with Kathy!
